How does an affiliate program work?

An affiliate program allows you to make money by referring customers to our website. It's also an excellent way to enhance your site and offer more value to your customers.

Here's how it works:
You place Northlandwoolens.com advertising and promotion links on your site. Every time a visitor referred from your site completes a purchase , 12% commission . We'll mail you a check on a monthly basis, provided that your Affiliate account has a balance of at least $10.00. If you only earn $5 the first month, this money is carried over until you earn a total of $10.00.  It's that easy!

Does my website qualify for the Affiliate Program?
Most websites will qualify to participate in the program. Anyone may submit an application, but we do reserve the right to refuse membership to a site or revoke a site's membership at any time if we deem that it contains objectionable material. Some examples of sites that would NOT qualify for participation include:
  • Sites that promote violence
  • Sites that promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion,
national origin, physical disability, sexual orientation or age
  • Sites that promote sexually explicit material
  • Sites that promote illegal activities
  • Sites that violate intellectual property rights
What are my responsibilities as an Affiliate?
The only thing you are responsible for is using our banners to create and place links on your site. We handle everything else.Once accepted into the program we will forward links to these banners.
