I couldn’t resist posting this as the name fits what Northland Woolens, Inc. is about.
This came from Kathy F. one of our sewers and the person that does most of our blanket stitching.
Lamb’s Wool
8 Apples, peeled, cored, coarsely chopped
1/4 cup butter
2 quarts beer or ale
1 cup Sugar
1/2 Tsp. nutmet
1/2 Tsp. Ginger
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 2-3 hrs. Remove apples: mash or sieve. Return to beer mixture and serve hot. Makes 8 servings.
