Welcome to Northland Woolens, Inc. and thanks for stopping by. We are a small farm nestled in the middle of Minnesota that specializes in wool and angora blend knit products. The angora comes from my daughter's Angora show rabbits, like this one:
Angora is the lightest natural fiber known. The hollow structure of its fiber makes it ideal for thermal clothing and has been found to be 8 times warmer than sheeps wool. This added warmth is wonderful for the outdoorsman and sportsman. Here in Minnesota we know the need for that added warmth!
Here at Northland Woolens, Inc. we have 3 distinct lines:
1. Our Wool/Angora socks.
2. Knit items made of Merino wool which include ski hats, scarves and purses.
3. Twice Baked, our effort in "Going Green" these products are made of recycled wool.
