Angora Bunnies and their fiber

Our first line, Wool/Angora socks, is our mainstay. Angora is the lightest natural fiber known. The hollow structure of its fiber makes it ideal for thermal clothing and has been found to be 8 times warmer than sheep’s wool. This added warmth is wonderful for the outdoorsman and sportsman. Here in Minnesota we know the need for that added warmth.

We use 80% Merino wool, 15% Angora and 5% nylon in our yarn.  By using a high micron count wool, we squelch the rumors of wool being itchy.  Also with the addition of 15% Angora it makes a normal wool sock twice as warm.  These socks are available in 4 different styles, 4 sizes and 3 colors.
